Carteret County man arrested on multiple drug charges

CARTERET COUNTY, N.C. (WNCT) — A man was arrested in Carteret County on August 23 and received multiple drug charges after an undercover drug investigation.

Anderson B. Taylor was charged with:

• Trafficking Methamphetamine
• Possession with Intent to Manufacture Sell and Deliver Methamphetamine
• Sell/Deliver Methamphetamine

During the investigation, drug detectives conducted numerous undercover drug purchases from Taylor up to levels of schedule II Methamphetamine. Once Taylor traveled back home from obtaining more supply of the drug with the intent to distribute in the Carteret County area, the investigation ended.

Taylor is currently on active post-release from prison where he was committed to the Carteret County Jail under no bond until his first appearance on August 26. At that time, he was ordered to be held under a $750,000 secure bond.
