    Man arrested in Edgecombe County, sentenced to prison on narcotics charges in Nash County

    EDGECOMBE COUNTY, N.C. (WNCT) — Deputies with the Edgecombe County Sheriff’s Office arrested a man on cocaine selling and delivering charges on Sept. 4, 2024.

    Tyson Broadax also had pending cases out of Nash County involving narcotics. Broadax was charged with possession with intent to manufacture, sell and deliver cocaine and selling/delivering cocaine in Edgecombe County.

    He was sentenced to nine months to just less than two years in prison for the charges out of Nash County. Broadax was jailed under a $10,000 secured bond for the charge in Edgecombe County.
