    Multiple arrested in Pamlico County for drug related charges

    PAMLICO COUNTY, N.C. (WNCT) — On August 30, Deputies of the Pamlico County Sheriff’s Office executed warrants at three locations in Pamlico County.

    The reports were in relations to a yearlong investigation pertaining to the sale and distribution of illegal narcotics in the county. Deputies executed search warrants at the residence of Gloria Anita Midgette, a separate residence owned by Midgette inhabited by Tonya Styron Jones, a search warrant at a business rented by Midgette that was being operated as a bar and social club in the Vandemere community.

    During the investigation, deputies found multiple controlled purchases of powder and crack cocaine from Midgette and other co-conspirators working for and with her to distribute cocaine throughout the county.

    As a result of the search, investigators were able to seize approximately 45 grams of crack and powder cocaine.

    Midgette was charged and arrested with the following:

    • 1 count of Continuing Criminal Enterprise
    • 13 counts of Possession With the intent to sell/deliver cocaine
    • 13 counts of Maintaining a Vehicle for the Sale of Controlled Substances
    • 8 counts of Conspiracy to Sell/Deliver Cocaine
    • Drug Paraphernalia Not for Marijuana
    • Unauthorized Possession of Spirituous Liquor
    • Possess Alcohol for Sale Without a Permit

    Also arrested in the investigation were:

    • Cameron Real Brown
    • Shawn Sherice Mattocks
    • Adrian V. Mattocks
    • Tina Stokes Dove
    • Tonya Jones Styron
