GREENVILLE, N.C. (WNCT) — The First Friday Art Walk is back in downtown Greenville.

It’s the first time kicking off since the Dickinson Avenue construction project finished, giving people a chance to revisit all the art on the street. Local and regional artists show off their talents while people get to enjoy the array of local shops and restaurants.

The art walk honors all the local artists in the area and the galleries who support them.

“We’re so thrilled with the Art Walk because getting people all around downtown is now a possibility,” Emerge Gallery Executive Director Holly Garriott said. “With the road being opened and we have the Emerald Express trolley, which is giving free rides between 5 and 8 p.m.”

If you plan on going this Friday, you can take the Emerald Express Trolley to stop throughout the downtown district, East Carolina University’s campus or you can enjoy your own self-guided tour.
