Episode 3 of ‘Inside Pirate Athletics’

GREENVILLE, N.C. (WNCT) — The undefeated record stayed alive for the East Carolina University football team after they traveled down to Norfolk to face Old Dominion University.

With the win over the Monarchs, the Pirates have already matched their win total from the 2023-24 season and have started 2-0 for the first time since 2016. Rahjai Harris carried immense weight in the victory with a career-high 26 carries for 131 yards and two touchdown runs.

Transfer quarterback Jake Garcia completed 25 of 38 passes for 283 yards, hitting nine receivers over the span of the game. Garcia also threw four interceptions, a struggle that followed from their game against Norfolk State.
