Goldsboro man wanted for murder

GOLDSBORO, N.C. (WNCT) — A Goldsboro man is wanted for murder.

On the morning of August 2, Officers with the Goldsboro Police Department responded to a report of a shooting at N. Kornegay Street. Upon their arrival, a female inside the house was suffering from an apparent gunshot wound. Emergency Medical personnel responded, but the victim was pronounced dead.

The suspect was identified as Jaalin Dasani Applewhite. Officers say Applewhite should be considered armed and dangerous. They also say he suffers from a seizure disorder.
