One person flown to hospital after Beaufort County crash

BLOUNTS CREEK, N.C. (WNCT) — Multiple fire departments responded to a crash on N.C. Highway 33 and Core Point Road Wednesday.

Firefighters said a vehicle crashed into a large ditch with two people trapped inside. One person was flown to the hospital to be treated for injuries sustained.

Both people were pulled out of the vehicle within 30 minutes, according to the crews.
