GREENVILLE, N.C. (WNCT) — Two juveniles were charged by law enforcement after school threats at two different Pitt County schools this week.

Tuesday, at Hope Middle School, a juvenile was charged with a felony count of communicating a threat of mass violence on educational property. No one was harmed as a result of the threat.

Thursday, at The Chicod School, a student was also charged with communicating a threat of mass violence on educational property. There is no indication any students were in harm in that threat either.

School Resource Officers investigated similar instances at four other schools so far in September.
