    Man arrested in Deep Run for possession of fentanyl

    DEEP RUN, N.C. (WNCT) — Tyquan Johnson, 23, was arrested for Schedule I possession of fentanyl and misdemeanor possession of drug paraphernalia. Officers arrested him after stopping a vehicle that Johnson was in. Detectives conducted a probable cause search of the vehicle during the stop. Johnson already had a warrant for arrest.

    While searching, they discovered a white powder, which tested positive for fentanyl. According to Lenoir County, Johnson was given a, “$7,500 secured bond for the new charges and a $1,000 unsecured bond for the Order for Arrest.”

    He was taken to the Lenoir County Detention Center.
