    South Carolina man arrested for trafficking drugs in Havelock

    HAVELOCK, N.C. (WNCT) — On Wednesday, the Havelock Police Department initiated a traffic stop for a vehicle involved with trafficking drugs.

    K-9 Rowen alerted to the presence of drugs in the vehicle. Officers conducted a probable cause search and seized 87 grams of meth and 9.1 grams of fentanyl.

    Daniel Kalkhof was arrested and charged with two counts off trafficking meth, two counts of trafficking opium or heroin, two counts of felony possession with the intent of manufacture, sell and deliver schedule II, and possession of drug paraphernalia.

    Kalkhof is at the Craven County Jail where he is being held under a $1,200,000 bond.
