Touchdown Friday to be Touchdown Thursday this week as schools move games

GREENVILLE, N.C. (WNCT) — This week, due to the threats of Tropical Storm Helene, high schools are moving their football games to Thursday night.

So, instead of Touchdown Friday this week, it will be Touchdown Friday on Thursday. The Game of the Week this week will see the new No. 1 in the Touchdown Friday Top 9, Tarboro, take on the former No. 1 Havelock.

Other matchups this week include Jacksonville versus New Bern, South Central taking on J.H. Rose and Washington versus West Craven, among others.
