Local law firm teams up with Channel 9 to assist western NC

GREENVILLE, N.C. (WNCT) — WNCT and Wayne Hardee Law Firm are teaming up to collect donation items for Western North Carolina hurricane relief efforts.

Donation drops will be accepting things like dish soap, non-perishable food items, diapers and more stationary equipment. Wayne Hardee and his team said that setting up donation efforts is a way to give back to a community that once helped Greenville during storm damages.

“We’ve had, you know, a lot of, a lot of floods and terrible hurricanes in the past here. And we’ve got support from all over the state,” Hardee said. “So, this is just a small way of trying to gather, to help out and help our neighbors in the West.”

Drop-off hours at the Wayne Hardee Law Firm will be from 8 a.m. until 6 p.m. here at WNCT will be from 9 a.m. until 4 p.m.
