Man charged with 15 counts trafficking opioids, jailed under $300,000 bond

WALLACE, N.C. (WNCT) — A man was arrested and charged with trafficking opioids Thursday in Wallace in Duplin County.

The arrest was part of a six-month investigation by the Duplin County Sheriff’s Office and North Carolina State Bureau of Investigation into sales and distribution of prescription medication in Duplin County.

Darmius Lee was charged with 15 counts of trafficking opioids and three counts maintaining a vehicle/dwelling/place for controlled substances. Lee was jailed in the Duplin County Jail under a $300,000 secured bond.
