GREENVILLE, N.C. (WNCT) — The North Carolina Museum of Natural Sciences at Greenville held their annual A Time for Science STEM Expo this weekend.

Science centers, environmental centers, and educators around Eastern North Carolina came out to highlight the work they do in their area of expertise. There were over 25 different exhibitors to teach people about zoology, engineering, astronomy, and much more.

“This is so fun. It’s a great way for kids to get exposed to science, and it’s always engaging and fun where sometimes you can think of science as being something in a textbook that’s removed or maybe challenging to learn about. Here, science is accessible, it’s fun, and it’s great for the whole family,” said Sam Eubanks, the Education Coordinator at the NC Museum of Natural Sciences at Greenville.
