Man arrested by Pitt County Sheriff’s Office on threat of mass violence charge

Update: Officials with the Pitt County Sheriff’s Office announced that have arrested Charles Barrett.

Previous: GREENVILLE, N.C. (WNCT) — The Pitt County Sheriff’s Office has put out a post for a wanted man.

Charles Barrett is wanted for communicating a threat of mass violence against the Pitt County office building complex in Greenville.

The Sheriff’s Office says if you have info regarding his location, contact the Pitt Co Sheriff’s Office at (252) 830-4141 or Crime Stoppers at (252) 758-7777, at www.crimestopper.org , or on the P3Tips phone app. Through Crime Stoppers you can remain ANONYMOUS and be earn a CA$H REWARD!
