    Man airlifted to ECU Health after car accident in Lenoir County

    LENOIR COUNTY, N.C. (WNCT) — On Tuesday morning, the North Carolina State Highway Patrol responded to a car accident.

    The collision involved a log truck and a Ford pickup truck on NC 11 in Lenoir County. 66-year-old Michael Snyder of Kinston was attempting to enter NC 11 when he pulled out in front an empty log truck traveling south. Snyder’s vehicle collided with the empty log truck and he was airlifted to ECU Health with serious but non-life threatening injuries.

    Snyder was charged with failing to yield.
