Smoke On The Water takes place this weekend

WASHINGTON, N.C. (WNCT) — The Smoke On The Water festival returns to Washington Oct. 18-19th. The festivities begin Friday at 4 p.m with live music, food trucks, fun for the kids and much more.

Coordinator Pamela Anderson said there will be a parade Friday at 5 p.m. and the showmanship judging starts at 7.

“It’s a lot of fun to be out here Friday night when the pig cookers are getting all set up and everything,” Anderson said.

The event starts back up at 8 a.m. Saturday.
