WINTERVILLE, N.C. (WNCT) — Pitt Community College kicked off the fall season with its annual Fall Fest.

Academics are in full swing, but the event gives students an opportunity to take a break outside of the classroom along with classmates. Along with the fair-like atmosphere, local organizations were also able to join in on the fun and tried recruiting students to join them.

“The whole Fall Festival really gets our word out there letting people know if you have an interest in music, you can absolutely join us,” Aatman Sharma with PCC said. “No matter what major you’re in, what minor you’re in.”

The event served as an opportunity for clubs and organizations to raise funds. They also provided local businesses a chance to share information about services they offer to the community.
