Portion of Highway 45 South closed due to crash in Windsor

WINDSOR, N.C. (WNCT) — A portion of Highway 45 South near Cooper Hill Road in Windsor is closed due to a crash.

Bertie County Sheriff’s Office officials said the crash involved an 18-wheeler log truck. They said the highway will be closed for an amount of time and updates will be given when the flow of traffic is back to normal.

It is unknown at this time the extent of damage in the crash or if there are any injuries sustained.
