Touchdown Friday Top 9 released for week nine

GREENVILLE, N.C. (WNCT) — The regular season for high school football is starting to wind down as we are into week nine.

This week’s Touchdown Friday Top 9 Poll has been released with another change at the top.

The three teams tied for the lead in the 3A/4A Big Carolina Conference are 1, 2 and 3 in the poll this week as New Bern sits atop, Havelock is in second and Jacksonville is third.

A pair of unbeaten teams are fourth and fifth as James Kenan and Richlands are both 7-0.

No. 6 is one loss Tarboro, undefeated North Duplin comes in at No. 7, White Oak is eighth and Martin County rounds out the top 9.
