    Fans react after ECU fires head football coach Mike Houston

    GREENVILLE, N.C. (WNCT) — After hearing the decision to fire head coach Mike Houston on Sunday morning, Pirates at the soccer and volleyball games shared their thoughts and opinions on this decision.

    Some fans think it could make for a positive change.

    Others are not happy about the timing of it all.

    Players are starting to share their thoughts on social media, saying things like, “If only y’all knew,” and “Got what y’all wanted.”

    Now, as homecoming week approaches, Blake Harrell is stepping up as interim head coach.
