BATON ROUGE, La. (BRPROUD) — Members of law enforcement saved a man at a recent LSU game in Tiger Stadium.

The Louisiana Office of State Fire Marshal gave a shoutout to Cpl. Jillian St. Amant in a Facebook post saying she helped save an LSU fan during the game against Nicholls on Saturday, Sept. 7.

The fire marshal said St. Amant, along with an East Baton Rouge Sheriff’s Office deputy and Livingston Parish Sheriff’s Office, did CPR on a man who had become unresponsive in the stands for almost 10 minutes. They also used an AED from the stadium.

“Their work got a heartbeat back and the man was breathing on his own when he was taken to the hospital,” the post said.
