VPSO Arrest Report: 4 arrested for outstanding bench work

VERONON PARISH, La. ( WNTZ ) – Sheriff Sam Craft of the Vernon Parish Sheriff’s Office announces recent arrests made by VPSO.

October 10, 2024

Acy David Hickman, age 35, of Leesville, was arrested on an outstanding Bench Warrant. Bond has not been set and Hickman remains in the VPSO jail.

October 14, 2024

Willas D. Smith, age 37, of Leesville, was arrested and charged with one count of Domestic Abuse Battery. Bond was set at $15000.00. Smith remains in the VPSO jail.

October 15, 2024

Jeffrey Scott Fontenot, age 35, of Reeves, was arrested on an outstanding Bench Warrant. Bond has not been set and Fontenot remains in the VPSO jail.

October 16, 2024

Dustin Michael Johnson, age 33, of DeRidder, was arrested on an outstanding Bench Warrant. Bond has not been set and Johnson remains in the VPSO jail.

All persons are presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
