Urban League debuts mom-led initiative to improve police-community relations
The Fort Wayne Urban League announced an initiative Thursday to get families involved in training and interacting with police in the community. The initiative, called ‘Mothers for the Movement – every child home alive’ looks to develop training and language to educate youth about interacting with police and also create opportunities for local police officers to interact with the communities they serve.

Rautenberg Receives Two Years In Prison For Battering Woman
WARSAW — A Warsaw man will serve two years in prison for preventing a woman from leaving a residence and battering her. Ryan Paul Nicholas Rautenberg, 36, 342 S. 325E, Warsaw, was charged with criminal confinement, a level 5 felony; domestic battery resulting in injury, a level 6 felony; and invasion of privacy, a class A misdemeanor. Five additional criminal charges were all dismissed as part of a plea agreement.
