Warsaw Man Arrested for Domestic Battery
WARSAW — A Warsaw man was arrested for allegedly battering a woman. Marco Antonio Cleto, 26, 450 Wexford Place, Warsaw, is charged with domestic battery with a child under 16 years of age present and domestic battery resulting in moderate bodily injury, both level 6 felonies; and domestic battery, a class A misdemeanor.
Tigers counting on depth to be a strength for defensive line
Last season Auburn's defense finished 42nd in sacks, 43rd nationally in scoring, 47th in total defense, but was just 78th in rush defense after allowing 155 yards per game on the ground and 171 yards against SEC opponents. The TinCaps dropped the opener of a three-game series against Lake County on Friday night despite a sellout crowd at Parkview Field. It was a frustrating loss for a team that has had plenty of them this season as Fort Wayne put two runners on in the seventh, eighth and ninth, but was unable to push across the tying run in a 3-2 defeat. It was the 29th one-run game of the season for the TinCaps, which continues to lead the Midwest League.
