FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WANE) – The U.S. Military War Dogs made a stop in Fort Wayne on Friday as part of their national tour. The War Dogs started in 2018 as a baseball program aiming to raise funds and awareness for veterans with PTSD and other post-service issues. He is survived by two sisters, ClaraMae (Don) Gingerich of Kouts and J. Arlene (Dennis) Schrock of Florida; a brother, Kenneth D. (Carole) Kauffman of Marion; his daughters Jennifer (Jeff) Longenbaugh of Middlebury, and Cynthia Kauffman of Chandler, Arizona; one granddaughter; and one great grandson.
