Moorhead wading pool closing indefinitely
MOORHEAD, MINN. (Valley News Live) - The neighborhood wading pool at South Park in Moorhead is now closed, maybe for good. The City of Moorhead Parks and Recreation Department says the 1950s era structure, near Ellen Hopkins School, is beyond reasonable repair due to persistent leaks and failing concrete. They say it must be demolished.

Family confirms missing man has been found dead in the Red River
FARGO, N.D. (Valley News Live) - Early Friday morning, a family member of Arthur Wiebe confirmed that his body had been pulled from the Red River. On Wednesday, the Moorhead Police Department pushed out that they needed the public’s help in finding Arthur. Police said that Arthur was last seen in the 4100 block of 34th Ave. S. in Moorhead on July 1st.
Reiles Acres woman injured in Becker County rollover
(BECKER COUNTY, MINN.) — A Reiles Acres woman suffered non-life-threatening injuries in a rollover crash early Thursday morning in Becker County. According to authorities, at approximately 1:21 a.m. Thursday, the Becker County Sheriff’s Office received a report of a rollover motor vehicle crash on County Highway 11 and Blue Water Bay Road, south of Audubon.

(KNSI) – The St. Cloud Police Department is inviting neighborhood associations across the city to organize events to tie into National Night Out. This year’s event will be on August 6th from 5:00 to 9:30 p.m. Block parties, cookouts, ice cream socials, contests, and games are just some of the activities planned each year. National Night Out is an annual event that aims to strengthen the ties between communities and the first responders who serve them.
Three arrested for alleged attack on Olivia man
(Litchfield MN-) Three people have been arrested for an attack on an Olivia man who was found at the side of a rural Meeker County Road June 28th. 50-year-old Galen Serbus had been stabbed and struck by a motor vehicle, and was taken to Hennepin County Medical Center for treatment. Meeker County Sheriff Brian Cruze says they believe 20-year-old Arriyana Pillatzki from Pennock, 48-year-old David Pillatzki of Arco, and 26-year-old Tre Ertl of Litchfield brought Serbus to an area along 600th Avenue in Litchfield Township with the intention to rob him. Serbus was stabbed, struck by a vehicle, and left for dead. A passerby found him and called 911.
Three file for two Sartell council seats
Three men have filed as candidates for two positions on the Sartell City Council to be decided in the Nov. 5 general election. The candidates are Rustin Deters, Marshall Grams and Pat Lynch. The two incumbents in those open seats are Alex Lewandowski and Jill Smith, who both chose not to file for re-election.

Fargo man arrested after allegedly vandalizing ATM
FARGO, ND — A man has been arrested in connection with vandalism in Fargo. Police say it happened late last month, when somebody threw a rock at an ATM at business along 13th Avenue South, leaving it severely damaged. Investigators used surveillance video to identify 27-year-old Jose Rodriquez as the suspect, as officers recognized him from a previous call in which they removed him from the same business.
