This Woman’s Guardian Angel Has Saved Her Life More Than Once: Read Her Inspiring Story

My mother first told me that I had a guardian angel watching out for me when I was just 3½-years-old in 1959. I quickly learned she was right.

My father was dropped off across the street from my house. I ran into the street without looking and a car struck me and ran over my abdomen. I woke up in the hospital with my dad and doctor looking down at me, and the doctor said, “I don’t know what to say, but there’s nothing wrong with her.” I’ve believed in angels ever since.

In 1998, my husband was transferred to England. I had to pack up the house and put my car on a towing trailer by myself. I drove the U-Haul to a gas station to get the car trailer, and when I got there, I was told the guy who was supposed to hook up the car trailer had left.

I managed to hook up the trailer and drive the car up onto it myself. But one wheel strap wouldn’t tighten and kept slipping loose. I was exhausted and had my 3-year-old in the moving van. I was on the verge of tears.

I looked up at people entering the gas station and a man and teenager caught my eye. But no one else was around. It was getting dark, and I had a 3-hour trip ahead of me.

I kept wrapping the strap around the tire and tightening the strap, and it would slip loose over and over again.

Then I heard a man’s voice say, “Can I help you?”

I was squatting down on the car trailer looking into the wheel well when this huge muscular arm reached in front of me and grabbed the metal piece that tightens the strap. He cranked it and my car actually squished down and was secure.

I looked up to thank him and he was gone.

I have been blessed in many ways by God, and I know my guardian angel has a full-time job watching out for me!
