While there’s no denying that we’re all for ooey-gooey romance, there’s something appealing about the tried and true “enemies to lovers” trope: Boy meets girl, boy and girl despise each other, boy and girl get to know each other more closely, and it isn’t long before they come to realize that the other isn’t as bad as they first thought.
With this realization, romance blossoms, they’re quickly falling in love, and everyone lives happily ever after. While there’s no saying why this particular “genre” of romance has grown to be so popular, it’s one we turn to time after time when we’re in the mood for a good love story.
If there’s one thing Hallmark does well it’s a happy and sappy love story, but even our favorite channel has played into this beloved trope. Here, take a look at six Hallmark enemies-to-lovers movies we love!

As they spend more time together, she realizes he’s not as bad as she decided he was all those years ago — and she begins questioning her life and relationship she left behind in the big city.
