Former Eagles Executive clowns Jerry Jones and the Cowboys on social media for their failure of a contract strategy that’s lasted 20+ years
A former executive of the Philadelphia Eagles believes that the Dallas Cowboys have repeatedly made the same mistake in their contract negotiations. Joe Banner served as the Eagles’ president from 1995 to 2012, a time when the Eagles and Cowboys were often battling for playoff success in the NFC East. On social media Friday, he reflected on how the Cowboys have always preferred to postpone contract negotiations as much as possible, a strategy they are currently being criticized for once again.
Famed Buffalo Soldiers honored in Easton | PHOTOS
The Buffalo Soldiers whose graves were found at the playground and basketball courts at West Nesquehoning Park in Easton were honored there Saturday. The Buffalo Soldiers were Black troops who served in segregated units formed after the Civil War mostly for duty in the West. The ceremony had quasi-military ceremonies such as a rifle salute and showed renderings of what will happen to the park, as well as a monument to be placed at the Rose Garden in Bethlehem. Pablo Hernandez Cruz — InAtlantic County, New Jersey, a man who prevented two kids from drowning in the Great Egg Harbor River has passed away. The 49-year-old Pablo Hernando Cruz of Mays Landing has been identified. This incident took place in Hamilton Township's Weymouth Furnace County Park. Two kids allegedly went swimming there, which is against the rules. There are several signs warning people not to swim that are posted in both Spanish and English. The kids began to have some trouble in the water, according to the investigators. Cruz is said to have entered at that point to assist them.
