Oh, you thought all McDonald's arches were golden?. The McDonald's logo is right up there with Nike and Target in terms of being instantly recognizable. In fact, you don't even need to see the business name to know what it is. A pair of golden arches lets a hungry traveler...
How Many of These Classic Summer Toys Do You Remember?
Summer has descended with the intensity of a relentless inferno, leaving many American towns simmering in its wake. I don't recall summers ever feeling this hot when I was a kid, but that probably has something to do with the fact we were always soaking ourselves with cold water in some manner.
NOTHING TO SEE HERE: Headline About TN Theme Park Is Very Misleading
"You Won't Believe What This 80s Beauty Queen Looks Like Now...I Was Shocked" That's an example of the type of headlines I see frequently while scrolling through social media. And just like a trout lookin' for a worm, I bite the hook only to learn she looks just like she did in the 80s...and I'm actually NOT shocked.

If you are looking for an extra sweet gal, Denny just might be it! She's been at Warrick Humane Society for over 80 days making her the fourth longest resident. Denny is a two-year-old Dogue de Bourdeaux mix. Sounds fancy - kinda like ordering a 'Moons Over My Hammy'! So, she's been at a shelter for a really long time and needs a family.

More Than 100 Breweries Gather in an Indiana Corn Field for an Unforgettable Beer Festival
You can enjoy sampling cold beer all while winding through an 11-acre corn maze. Corn mazes are already a popular fall activity, but add in beer, and you've just taken it to a whole other level. I always enjoy a good beer festival, it's a great way to try a bunch of beers and find what you like, without the commitment of buying a 6-pack. You can try a taster, and if you don't like it, you can move on. I'm not even a huge fan of beer, but from attending local beer festivals, I've enjoyed trying different kinds, and to my surprise, I've actually found a few beers I like!

Indiana Restaurant Named ‘Best Under-the-Radar Steakhouse’ in the State
The next time you want a good steak in Indiana, maybe try out the best under-the-radar steakhouse in the entire state. Indiana has no shortage of great restaurants that have been open for years. These restaurants have become staples in that area where people must go whenever they are in town. They are restaurants that can even become bucket-list places to dine at. Whether it be comfort food, burgers, fried chicken, seafood, Italian, Mexican, steakhouses, or any other type of restaurant, there are certain places that stand out among the rest. Out of all of the possibilities, it can be somewhat difficult to decide where you want to go to eat. Personally, I would never turn down a good steak. According to a survey in this Fox News story, I'm not alone. The survey says that steak is America's favorite meal, and steak is also what nearly 66 percent of Americans say they would have as their LAST meal too.

They also have them in all ages, from puppies and kittens that are weeks old to dogs and cats who have been around awhile. So there is an excellent likelihood that the VHS will have a pet that fits your lifestyle! Each week we feature a pet of the week with the VHS, in hopes of helping them find their forever homes. This week our Pet of the Week is Lowki, he's a sweet orange cat and he is looking for his forever home.

Land Spouts Could Be Seen Across Southern Indiana Today
If you see something resembling a funnel in the air today, there may be no need to panic today, according to Warrick County Emergency Management. Ordinarily when you see a funnel in the sky, it means you need to take shelter - at least in this part of the country, but sometimes those funnels are really rather harmless.
