    Special events: Jeep Fest and the Wood County Fair round out the weekend

    Jeep Fest, the annual celebration of all things Jeep, runs Thursday through Sunday. The weekend is jam-packed with events spanning from corner to corner of the city. Highlights include the Jeep Off-Road Course Welcome Party, which begins at 3 p.m. Thursday in Monroe, the Glass City Crawlers Block Party, which begins at 6 p.m. Friday in downtown, and the All-Jeep Parade, which begins at 10 a.m. Saturday in downtown.     ■ Come down to the St. George Cathedral Summer Festival , going on 5 to 11 p.m. Friday, 4 to 11 p.m. Saturday, and noon to 5 p.m. Sunday at St. George Cathedral, located at 3754 Woodley Rd. Come enjoy great Middle Eastern and American food, music, and dancing. The music is provided by local band Madison Avenue on Friday, the Grape Smugglers on Saturday, and After Shock on Sunday.     ■ Groove to the sounds of The Beatles under the gentle glow of candles at Candlelight: The Best of the Beatles this Saturday at 6:30 and 8:45 p.m.  Experience all the great hits from the Fab Four performed by the Listeso String Quartet while sitting under the soft illumination of hundreds of flames at The Summit, located at 23 N. Summit St. Doors open 45 minutes prior to the start time and late entry is not permitted. There is an age requirement of 8 years and older. Anyone under 16 must be accompanied by an adult.     ■ The 151st annual Wood County Fair runs through Sunday at the Wood County Fairgrounds, located at 13800 W. Poe Rd. More than 100,000 people are expected to attend this year’s fair, which features rides, exhibitions, education, and entertainment, not to mention great fair food. Anyone for deep fried Twinkies?     ■ Country superstar Jordan Davis brings his musical stylings to the Huntington Center (500 Jefferson Ave.) on Friday at 7 p.m. Davis is well known for such hits as “Buy Dirt,” which was his chart-topping duet with Luke Bryan, as well as other songs like “Singles You Up” and “Slow Dance In a Parking Lot.” Davis’ most recent album Bluebird Days went Platinum.
