LANSING, Mich. ( WLNS /WOOD) — The Food and Drug Administration has issued a recall for “dunking cookies” sold in Meijer stores.

The recall is for Meijer Dunking Cookies Chocolate Chip because they have undeclared milk in them. That could sicken people with milk allergies, though the FDA says neither Meijer nor California-based Too Good Gourmet — which manufactured the cookies — have gotten any reports of illness.

The FDA says Meijer was not alerted that the label was incorrect.

The cookies in question were sold in 10-ounce clear cups with a blue and whit label. They have the UPC 713733712972. The recall covers all “best if used by” dates. The FDA says the cookies were sold in Michigan, Indiana, Illinois, Ohio, Kentucky and Wisconsin.

If you bought the cookies, you can return them to Meijer for a refund. Questions can be directed to Meijer each day from 7 a.m. to 1 a.m. at 800.543.3704.
