‘Experience the magic’: Free in-water boat show taking place in Muskegon

MUSKEGON, Mich. (WOOD) — A free boat show is taking place in Muskegon this weekend.

The Muskegon Boat Life Adelaide Pointe Boat Show kicks off Friday and runs through Sunday.

“This groundbreaking event marks the return of an in-water boat show to West Michigan after decades, promising an unforgettable experience for boating enthusiasts of all kinds,” a Tuesday release from the event said.

Event organizers say there will be everything from fishing boats to yachts on display, with more than 20 boat dealers from the Midwest taking part in the boat show. Along with the in-water boats, there will also be more than 40 boats on land.

There will also be food and live entertainment.

“We are thrilled to bring this exciting event to Muskegon,” boat show coordinator Roger Zuidema said in the release. “The Muskegon Boat Life Adelaide Pointe Boat Show is a celebration of boating and all that West Michigan has to offer. We invite everyone to come down and experience the magic for themselves.”

The free show will start at 10 a.m. each day, running until dusk on Friday and Saturday and until 5 p.m. on Sunday. It’s taking place at the newly-opened Adelaide Pointe , located at 1204 Western Ave. near Franklin Street in Muskegon.
