BATTLE CREEK, Mich. (WOOD) — A man that police in Battle Creek were asking for the public’s help to find has been found safe.

Battle Creek Police said that the missing 57-year-old man, who was not named, was found safe in the area of West Columbia Avenue and Arbor Street by a “Battle Creek neighbor” late Thursday evening.

The neighbor bought the man food at a local restaurant and waited with him until police arrived.

Police said that he was found in good condition, didn’t need medical treatment and was returned to his home.

The man was reported missing after being last seen near 10 W. Bidwell St. near Capital Avenue at an unspecified time and date.
