HOLLAND TOWNSHIP, Mich. (WOOD) — A motorcyclist is in the hospital after he was thrown from his bike during a Friday morning crash in Holland Township.

Around 5:40 a.m., deputies with the Ottawa County Sheriff’s Office were sent to the area of 120th Avenue and Riley Street for a crash.

Responding deputies learned that a 35-year-old Zeeland man was riding a motorcycle northbound on 120th Avenue when a southbound silver Ford Focus, driven by a 24-year-old Holland woman, turned in front of him while turning left onto Riley Street.

The motorcyclist was thrown from the bike, the sheriff’s office said. He was taken to the hospital. His injuries are not considered life-threatening.

The 24-year-old woman was not hurt.

    The crash remains under investigation.
