    Muskegon Heights shooting victim identified by police

    MUSKEGON HEIGHTS, Mich. (WOOD) — Police have identified a man who was found shot in a vehicle in Muskegon Heights and later died.

    Around 6:37 a.m. Sunday, officers with the Muskegon Heights Police Department were called to Hoyt Street near Maplewood Avenue for a report of a person who had been shot.

    They arrived to find 29-year-old Michael Stewart in a white Buick with multiple gunshot wounds.

    Police investigate death in Muskegon Heights

    Officers gave him first aid but Stewart died at the scene, police said.

    It’s not clear what led up to the shooting or who shot Stewart, but the Muskegon Heights Police Department and Michigan State Police Task Force are investigating.

    Tragic this is awful to hear about please stay the safest as I am. Did buy this finally and fixing my house 🏠 up and beautiful wildlife are fed well. Couldn't move ever it's perfect my family likes it too.
