    Dispatch: Motorcyclist flown to hospital after crash in Lowell

    LOWELL, Mich. (WOOD) — A motorcyclist was taken to the hospital by helicopter Wednesday night, dispatch confirmed.

    Around 8:11 p.m., Kent County dispatch got a call for a crash that happened at the intersection of Grand River Drive SE and S. Division Street in Lowell. A motorcycle driver was injured, dispatch said.

    AeroMed was called to the scene and took the victim to the hospital, according to dispatch.

    It’s not clear what led up to the crash.

    Lowell police, Lowell Fire Department and the Kent County Sheriff’s Office also responded to the scene, according to dispatch.
