Dispatch: Tyrone Township crash sends several people to hospital

TYRONE TOWNSHIP, Mich. (WOOD) — Several people were hospitalized Saturday after a crash in Tyrone Township, dispatchers told News 8.

It happened around 4:40 p.m. near 17 Mile Road and Sparta Avenue NW, according to the Kent County Dispatch Authority.

Three cars were involved, dispatchers said. They told News 8 that multiple people were taken to the hospital with injuries that were not considered life-threatening.

The road was temporarily closed but has since reopened.
