Two shot, hospitalized after shooting in Grand Rapids

GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. (WOOD) — Police are investigating after two people were shot and injured in Grand Rapids early Sunday.

The Grand Rapids Police Department got the call around 2:29 a.m. for a shooting in a parking lot on South Division Avenue near Andre Street SW.

When officers arrived, there was a large crowd in the area and they found two men with gunshot wounds, GRPD confirmed. The men were transported to the hospital. One man is in critical condition and the other is in serious condition.

The Grand Rapids Police Department said the Major Case Team is investigating this case. Police ask anyone with information to contact GRPD detectives at 616-456-3380 or Silent Observer .
