MARENGO TOWNSHIP, Mich. (WOOD) — Troopers say a young pit bull mix was taken from a car at a rest stop near Marshall.

It happened between 1 a.m. and 2 a.m. Thursday at the rest area on westbound I-94 in Marengo Township, according to the Michigan State Police.

The 6-month-old dog was taken from a white minivan, troopers say.
