This breaks my heart... Our seniors are so lonely and overwhelmed. Their children go about their lives, barely checking in. Their senior parents sick and frail have a tough time taking care of themselves let alone each other. Not to mention SSI is chump change. So they struggle to survive and can't without each other's income. Not wanting to be a burden to their own children. I have seen it and with my own medical problems I can understand their struggles. The resources available to them are not publicly known. I believe if more seniors knew about the resources out there, they might feel less burdened and alone.😪
