KENTWOOD, Mich. (WOOD) — BluePearl Pet Hospital is set to move to a new facility in the Grand Rapids area, nearly doubling the size of its footprint.

The pet hospital is currently located at 1425 Michigan St. NE near Fuller Avenue NE in Grand Rapids.

On Oct. 15, it will relocate to a new building in Kentwood, located at 2500 E Paris Ave. SE near Sparks Drive SE, according to an announcement from BluePearl.

BluePearl says the move will nearly double its footprint in the Grand Rapids area, from 16,000 square feet to 29,000 square feet.

“Our new hospital will allow us to provide industry leading specialty and emergency veterinary care to more pets in the Grand Rapids area,” said Christine Swanson, medical director at BluePearl Grand Rapids, in a statement. “We are so proud to be part of this community and to make this investment in Grand Rapids.”
