OLIVE TOWNSHIP, Mich. (WOOD) — Two people were injured in a crash in Ottawa County Tuesday, deputies say.

Around 5:30 p.m., a Honda driven by a 62-year-old Zeeland woman was headed west on Polk Street in Olive Township and did not yield right of way at the intersection of 120th Avenue, according to the Ottawa County Sheriff’s Office.

A northbound Chevrolet driven by a 33-year-old from Grand Haven hit the Honda in the intersection.

The driver of the Honda was taken to the hospital by ambulance and the driver of the Chevrolet went to the hospital by private car. Both had injuries that were not life-threatening, deputies said.

The sheriff’s office is investigating the crash.
