    GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. (WOOD) — Do you feel that nip in the air? That means fall is here and West Michigan knows how to celebrate the season in style.

    Here is a look at what you can do the weekend of Oct. 4:

    Franciscan Rhythms Trail Run

    The 10th annual Franciscan Rhythms 5K Trail Run and Walk is taking place this Saturday in Lowell.

    The event is held every year to benefit the music therapy program at the Franciscan Life Process Center. It’s your chance to “run with nuns” and is open to people of all ages and skill.

    New Alexander McQueen exhibit at the GRAM

    The Grand Rapids Art Museum is set to debut a brand new exhibit showcasing the work of the late designer Alexander McQueen.

    “Lee Alexander McQueen & Ann Ray: Rendez-Vous” will be on display at the GRAM starting Saturday. It will show off their works and go in-depth on their 13-year friendship as creatives.

    Pulaski Days

    Since 1973, Pulaski Days have been a time-honored celebration of Polish culture here in Grand Rapids.

    The celebration returns this weekend with fun activities happening at approximately 14 Polish halls in the city. There will also be a parade held Saturday.

    This Saturday, head on out to Pinewood Park in Kentwood for the Glow in the Park event.

    From 7 p.m. to 9 p.m., light up the night with glow-themed games, music and food. Tickets are just $5.

    The 85th annual Red Flannel Festival returns to Cedar Springs this weekend.

    The yearly event brings thousands of people to the area wearing their best red clothing. The tradition began all the way back in 1936.

    Renaissance Faire at GVSU

    Students at Grand Valley State University are hosting their 28th Renaissance Faire this Saturday.

    For a fourth year, Centertown Grand Haven is hosting a food truck rally this weekend.

    On Saturday, Chow Down Centertown returns with several food trucks, live music and this year will also include a mini golf course.
