Cutlerville Indian cuisine restaurant closes, property up for sale

BYRON TOWNSHIP, Mich. (WOOD) — A restaurant serving up Indian cuisine in Cutlerville has closed its doors.

Deluxe Restaurant and Bar, located at 6597 Division Ave. near 68th Street in Byron Township, announced the closure on social media.

“It is with a heavy heart that we announce the permanent closure of Deluxe Restaurant & Bar, an Indian Culinary experience,” the announcement reads . “We want to extend our deepest gratitude for your loyalty and support throughout our journey.”

The restaurant first opened in January 2023. Previously, the building was home to Sandi’s Family Restaurant, which first opened in 1974 but closed due to COVID-19 and staffing issues, the property owner told News 8.

The property is now for sale. It is listed for almost $500,000 .
