KALAMAZOO, Mich. (WOOD) — Police in Kalamazoo say they seized crack cocaine and a loaded gun after an investigation into drug sales.

On Thursday, investigators with the Kalamazoo Valley Enforcement Team and Crime Reduction Team carried out a search warrant on the 700 block of Staples Avenue, near W. North Street, according to a release from the Kalamazoo Department of Public Safety.

Police say they found a loaded gun, about half an ounce of crack cocaine and drug paraphernalia.

The suspect, described as a 45-year-old man, will face felony charges, according to KDPS. His name was not released Friday.
