GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. (WOOD) — The Cowboys didn’t have much to hang their 10-gallon hats on Sunday, but the Lions social media team wasn’t going to let them off of the hook. So, when the X account for AT&T Stadium tried to brag about its crowd size for Sunday’s 47-9 rout , the Lions couldn’t help but get in on the fun.

The AT&T Stadium account was quickly mocked for its tweet, which showed a packed stadium and claimed more than 93,000 fans were in attendance on Sunday. The wide shot also showed the stadium’s giant videoboard, with the lopsided score notably blurred out.

The Lions quote-tweeted the post , saying, “Is it us or is the scoreboard a little blurry?”

The other comments were, as expected, quite critical.

Some responses were simple like, “What’s the score?” Others were more to the point. “Blurring out the score is crazy work,” another fan responded.

Citing the 93,000, one fan responded, “Is that how many points they’ll be down in the first half at the next home game?” Another chimed in with, “Yeah that numbers gonna go down next home game.”

The Lions (4-1) face another big road test next week: a matchup against NFC North rival Minnesota (5-0). Kickoff is set for 1 p.m.

The Cowboys (3-3) get a week off before traveling to San Francisco for a Sunday night showdown with the 49ers (3-3) on Oct. 27.

That's what you get Jerry Jones on your birthday for having the officials turn the game over to you last year, after it was over.
