CASCADE TOWNSHIP, Mich. (WOOD) — A West Michigan brewery is opening a location inside the Gerald R. Ford International Airport.
A Bell’s Brewery location is set to open in the airport’s Concourse B this winter, it announced Thursday. The airport and Bell’s are opening it in partnership with restaurant operator HMSHost.
Travelers will be able to stop by to grab small bites and snacks, seasonal offerings and classics like Oberon and the Two Hearted IPA.
“Since opening in 1985, Bell’s Brewery has been a beloved staple in our community,” Gerald R. Ford International Airport Authority President and CEO Tory Richardson said in a release. “With an average of 10,000 passengers coming through our terminal daily—some of whom are first-time visitors to West Michigan—we are excited to showcase the vibrant local flavors of our region and hope all our travelers can enjoy the diverse options available to them.”
Bell’s joins a growing list of options at the Ford Airport. A Uccello’s location opened in July, while Freddy’s Frozen Custard & Steakburgers opened a spot inside the airport in April.
Ford Airport is also working to add a federal inspection station, which will make way for international direct flights , as the airport will be able to process international passengers and bags.
