GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. (WOOD) — Around 370 pounds of cocaine were seized by police on the east side of the state, according to law enforcement.

Police found the drugs inside a semi-truck in Port Huron Tuesday evening, the St. Clair County Sheriff’s Office said in a social media post . Law enforcement had pulled over the semi-truck on Pinegrove Avenue near the Bluewater Bridge, which leads into Canada.

The cocaine — around 370.7 pounds — is worth around $16.5 million, the sheriff’s office said.

“This seizure is the largest drug bust in the history of the Drug Task Force and the Sheriff’s Office,” the sheriff’s office wrote.

A suspect was taken into custody and is awaiting arraignment.

Multiple agencies, including Homeland Security Investigations, were involved in the drug bust.
